About the Friends

The Friends of the Fairport Public Library (FFL) is a non-profit organization. The Friends are volunteers dedicated to raising funds to support ongoing programs and special needs of the Fairport Public Library and community literacy groups through various fundraising events. A few examples are the library summer reading program, workshops for job seekers, and the Children's and Teen Book Festivals.

The largest fundraiser is operating The Corner Bookstore. The volunteers staff the store and sell used and collectible books donated to the library by the community.
