The Friends held a membership drive during National Friends of Libraries Week

The Friends of the Fairport Public Library launched their Fall Membership Drive at the end of October. Membership fees support Fairport Library programs and literacy events and scholarships in our local community.

Thank you, Senator Robach, for recognizing this week as National Friends of Libraries Week (October 21-27, 2018).

The Friends of the Fairport Library entered Ms. Frizzle in the Scarecrow Festival contest in the Village of Fairport. Many Fairport visitors enjoyed a fun day viewing the many scarecrows that lined Main Street.

The Corner Bookstore held a pop-up book sale too!

The Friends donated a basket for the raffle benefiting The Fairport Baptist Home. The event was held Saturday, September 29, 2018.

The Corner Bookstore celebrated their 4th anniversary as a non-profit book store in the Village of Fairport with a bargain book sale. A big THANK YOU to all our customers who find great reads each time they visit.

The store is staffed by Friends of the Fairport Library Volunteers.

Volunteers from The Friends of the Fairport Public Library staffed a booth at the 46th annual Rochester Antiquarian Book Sale at the Armory in downtown Rochester. The booth sold collectible books from the The Corner Bookstore.

During the month of September, The Friends of the Fairport Public Library and our Corner Bookstore were spotlighted in the lobby of the Evans Bank (formerly Fairport Savings Bank) on Main Street. Thank you to the bank for giving us this opportunity to "get the word out" to their customers.

The Friends of the Fairport Public Library held a bargain book sale on the sidewalk in front of The Corner Bookstore during Fairport Canal Days. Many customers bought some gently used books. The store had many first time visitors that we hope to see again.
